Default Need suggestions on tires 20"

Hello,

I am buying a used 05 Mustang GT with the stick shift (the way to drive GTs ).

I need to replace all 4 tires . They are 255/35 ZR 20.
I want some suggestions on the brand/part ( preferably not too expensive but some thing that lasts long).

Thanks !

I run nitto's invos. My tire size is 275/35 20. They have great grip and have lasted me pretty good.

I have Sumitomo HTRZ II's (255/35/R20) and the tread life is decent. Another option is the HTRZ III's. They are inexpensive tires! I ordered from Tire Rack and they shipped to a preferred tire shop I selected near my home. Check out tirerack.com for prices.

Thank you guys.
When you say , tread life is good /decent how many miles are we talking about ?

In general, (assuming you don't take the car to a track or do frequent burn outs) how man miles do your tires last ?

Well, i bought my first set of invo tires around dec of last year. Mind you it's my daily driver. I had an accident where two of them blew out and had to get the insurance adjuster come and quote me for how much was left on the thread, and i was able to get 100% back. So, idk mb a year? I don't spin my tires and all that, so it might be different depending on who you may ask.

I am not sure how many miles I have on them, however I bought a new set March 11, 2008 (3 years ago), and they are 3/4 worn. I try not to spin the wheels too much and I get my tires rotated regularly.

thats the only thing I hate about my setup. I cant rotate mine because I have 20x9's in the front & 20x10's in the back so no rotating and it sucks.

Most tires are directional so unless he has them off the rim that is a no go and I wouldnt do all that for just rotating.

I just got some new bulliets and I am getting Nitto 555 I have heard of people getting really good wear out of them like around 30,000. I dont expect them to last that long but they are really sticky and summer tires only. Do some searches on yahoo and google and read some reviews, it will give you relative prices to.

I am getting my Nittos from AM with the discount we get for being on here for 739 if i cant get them from a local shop cheaper which it doesnt look like.
