That sux! No dent, right?
I had my stang less than 2 weeks (still had the new tag on) and a woman smacked into my right rear quarter panel. HUGE dent!!!! Luckily, I knew her and she paid cash, so we didn't have to go through our insurance agencies. When choosing a parking spot, I park far away to avoid dings/dents and etc.

Wow man sorry to hear.. It could have been way worse, for both mine and your situation. I usually don't like to park next to anyone, but I sort of have no choice, unless if i park it in the auto shop (where the teacher shows up late) or I could park it across the street. Its realll scary stuff, leaving your car alone. Especially for those guys with the gt500's and saleens and what not.

Thank God you saw him do it. Otherwise you would have been hit and screwed.

Here's mine after the garbage truck clipped me with the hub of his front wheel last week. Nothing structural...all confined to the outer sheet-metal and the bumper and wheel, but $4200 worth of damage and 2 weeks driving a rental. I sincerely hope they get the paint match PERFECT, because that kind of thing drives me NUTS if it's not dead-on...

Wow makes mine look like nothing haha. I couldnt imagine the annoyance you're going through, I'd be devastated. I'm the same, I'd be really frustrated if the paint wasnt absolutely perfect; i freak out when i get dust on her haha.

My dad was rear ended in his black 06 gt at a stop light by a semi truck, on the panel where the gas nozzle is. Pretty bad, they had to order a whole new side rear panel, even a new rear bumper. If yours was only your rear bumper it wouldnt have been as bad.

That sucks man! Are you going to upgrade the rear bumper?

I'm keeping it stock. I thought about the CS rear bumper but I really just want it back to EXACTLY how I bought it!! At least I didn't have to deal with an insurance company, because the garbage company it self-insured, so they just cut a check for whatever your body shop says. Also, the only even remotely funny part about it is that the Stang BROKE THE GARBAGE TRUCK!! Hahaha-tore off the "cap" on the hub of his wheel and puked all his oil all over the road...smelled like hydraulic fluid for days on the street...

Hahaha, thats pretty funny. And sounds pretty lucky if you're hit by a garbage truck that they'd pay up front self insured.
