'07 power door mirror problem
Just got a 2007 V6 coupe. Still learning about it. One problem that I found is that the passenger door mirror does not respond when moving the toggle switch on the drivers side. Drivers door works fine but nothing when I turn it to the passenger door position. Nothing happens; no noise no movement in any direction. I searched the forums but could not find where to begin. I assume that the mirror motors could be bad but want to rule out wiring possibilities first. I did see reference in a post to a power junction box, either in the footwell or inside the door. Owner's manual seems to indicate only 1 fuse for both mirrors. Any suggestions on a logical approach to proceed would be appreciated. I do have the Haynes manual for 2005 thru 2007. Its pretty cryptic. Thanks. Barry

Pull the cover inside the door at the mirror. You might be able to reach the plug there....don't remember from my '07. You can check for power with a meter as you operate the switch.
You can pull the mirror by removing the three nuts you just exposed. I believe you can plug that mirror into the drivers plug if you want to really see if the motor works.
The glass will pop off the motor bracket if you need to replace the motor.

Thanks to Alkemist and AzPete
I removed the panel from the door and discovered that the power cable was not attached to the mirror. Connected and tested operation. Perfect! Called the PO to see if this had been disconnected because of a 'short' or some other reason. He said he was unaware of the problem. Thanks again for directing me to this removable panel. Barry Stoll
