actually the track key isn't available yet and isn't expected until this summer when/if ford gets the carb rating for cali. that is on the stock tune. there is another vid of that same car on teh street tires ripping off a 12.3 IIRC with the damn window sticker on the car. wonder what it will do after some break in.

looking at that, how much you want to bet that is a dealer driving a sold car off the lot. i can't imagine a guy willing to break his new boss 302 in at the track rolling with the window sticker still on it and it doesn't even have dealer tags on it lol. i mean if i wanted it so stock that i left the sticker on it on the way home my first stop wouldn't be the strip.

I know I'm gonna be chastised.....I did that in the past and certainly will do that in the future. Never had a problem in the past but, it's not "best practice procedure" for break in and I know it. I didn't leave the window stickers on but, the first Fri night of the new car ownership I was at the track with my new cars....even raced my pick-up the 1st weekend I had it. I love those "FIRST" for the new car track nights......

id take my own car in a heart beat, break it, that's what a warranty is for. i was just looking at it and then started thinking it didn't add up. i hate people ragging on my car, may not be the case here though that dude may be the owner just wanting to show off that it's new lol

"So you can imagine how my eyebrows arched as I recently read a Web site advocating a radical break-in procedure that involves lots of big throttle openings within the first 20 miles of operation in order to boost performance and improve durability".

They may have removed the exhaust restrictor discs but TracKey is not available so that's the normal key. I'm not sure how much drag strip abuse the Torsen diff can take though if you want to drag the car a lot.
