If they are drivin your stang, they have your keys
and most likely everyother key you own.
And a car jacking would mean you are on
the street somewhere, not at home awaiting
the arrival of said car jacker...
So the loaded gun plan goes out the window...

My house keys require you
to insert them fully then pull
it out a notch before they will work.
I have offset the tumblers in respect
to the hilt on the key...
Same way with the stang key.
Unless you know to pull it out a notch,
it will not turn...

I went with your standard 12ga 7 shot pump shotgun and a 380acp automatic. It will get the job done if it ever comes to it.

i wish there were a solution to this. i have a garage door opener for the gate to the apartment that management has warned us not to keep in the car because thieves in the past have done just what you've said: steal the door opener and the insurance papers and using the address, they break into the carpark and start doing their shopping .

so i have to carry this stupid door opener around with me all the time... and one of these days i'm going to break or lose the damn thing.

i've tried making a copy of my insurance papers with the address blotted out but that didn't go well with the last cop that pulled me over for speeding... i ended up getting another ticket for failure to have insurance paperwork in vehicle, which turns out is required by law where i live. dammit.
