Default $3k supercharger???

Is this right? That price seems crazy! It says its out of stock so im not sure if it can even be bought at this price but that seems like an incredible deal. Anyone jumping on this? If I didnt have school to pay for...

If this is still available, it will be my next mod. How long does a supercharger system take to install ? And I wonder what kind of power i will notice in terms of HP/TQ. Thanks

It says 420 HP which id imagine is pretty close seeing as some people are pushing close to 500 on 10-12 PSI i think
Not sure on installation but i think it will be a good bit easier then a twin screw or roots style would be

I have a friend with a vortech and he regrets not going with a twin or roots. Dont let price be the determing factor

There are quite a few people on here that love their vortech/paxton. That is the non intercooled version though. Save some money and get the HO kit like the one brenspeed has.

WOW , thats a super deal , I got mine for 3200 , but it wasn't polished and didn't come with tuner, or fuel pump . another option for inter cooling is to do your own air to air

Vortech's are pretty good from what I hear but I wouldn't get one that's non inter-cooled.

Yes that is a realistic price. That V2SQ S-trim is an old and dated head unit, Vortech has made it's money on that piece basically lol. It's a good kit that will make reliable power and is upgradeable should you want more power down the road. Personally I'm not a centri style fan but if you are go for it.

you get what you pay for. that is a tried and true blower that's been around for 20+ yrs. it gets the job done.

it isn't intercooled though...so if you run around pushing boost alot, you will get heat soak and loose HP/TQ.

on the flip side, these blowers require higher RPM's to push boost. how often do you run 3,000+ RPM? I personally don't very often. A centri blower loses out against a posi blower which makes full boost essentially at idle.

if you are interested in this setup, I suggest you pay the extra $800-900 and grab the Brenspeed Intercooled version of it. You'll make more power and they give you everything you'll need (ie: tuning)
