My son had them on his Saturn SC2 (yeah, no power to speak of) and liked them over a few other tires that he trashed. And Firestone and Bridgestone are one and the same if I recall and I've been happy with most of the tires I've owned from both.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I did some more poking around and unfortunately Nitto's selection of 19 inch tires is rather slim. Most brands are slim on the 19s still actually. I think 19s look perfect... 18s are too small, 20s are a little large for my tastes.

I've got 255/40-19s all the way around right now. I'm pretty sure the rims are 19x8.5. They're the 19 inch painted nickle luster aluminum wheels (stolen pic below). The widest Nitto 555 I can put on these rims is a 245/35, according to their website. The widest 19 inch 555 they make is 275/35. They don't even make a 255/40 in 19 inch. Bummer.

So if I want to go wider, or Nitto, I need new rims. If I do that, I'll definitely go staggered. Anyone running staggered 19 inch?

Does anyone know of a diameter calculator? To help figure out staggered setups?

Thanks everyone.

Try these sites. There are a lot of others, too: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos

Thanks Nuke, I'll check them out.

I sent an email to the Ford parts guy at my local dealer inquiring about some 2010 GT500 wheels...

The 18” Ford GT500 wheels are $189.95 a piece, and we have them in stock.

The 19” Ford GT500 wheels are showing $1,300 a PIECE! Plus a $50 core charge! They are available.

Be sure they're the '10 GT500's and not the 07-09 GT500's (like I have). Two totally different animals.

Also, from the specs on the tirerack site, it looks like most tire manufacturers allow a 255 on an 8.5" x 19 wheel.

My favorite calculator. Just enter stock setup, and away you go.
Check the box to the right and it will even give you available manufactures in the given size.

Thanks, Mayo. That's the calculator that I use at home but didn't have here at work.

If you are looking for straight line and some cornering like on the street I would suggest NT05R and keep with pirrelli's in the front.. That what I have on my car. Im happy with it..
You just have to check if NT05R comes in size you want
