Default FRPP Cams Installed!

I installed the cams myself. It's not as hard as you might think. I changed the valve covers while I was in there....

Here's some pics of the valve covers I installed...

Here's a little video...

Nice D! Those are the same valve covers I put on mine, so much better than the plain aluminum that comes from the factory!

I LOVED my Hot Rod Cams.
I'm thinking of camming the Shelby but man I kinda wanna stay very stock on her.

I just miss that shake though!
Did you change the tune to adjust the idle on it?
Also... do you get a hunting idle on the RPMS?
If you're not sure what I mean it's when you are at a stop and the RPMS go up and down slightly. If so I would tell you DONT mess with it unless it is REALLY bad.

I spent MONTHS trying to get rid of mine through three different tuners and learned it was just gonna stay that way and was normal.
But dont settle for one that goes like from 400 to 1500 or anything.
Or if it tries to die on you.
A hunting idle of about a 200 or so range is normal though.

Mine when finally adjusted went from about 500 to maybe 800.

Looks and sounds great. Im also interested in how long it took to install. Lastly, which billet caps are those? I had the Drakes and wasnt terribly impressed with them, but I really like the ones you have.
