Its a long term rental and you have to pay for all the service. Probably payed $5k up front, $1k/mo, +insurance, and at the end of 4 years you don't even own it. Its a great way to pay $50k and not have anything to show for it.

thanks guys i appreciate the help. and in terms of leasing a porsche, a buddy of my dads did the same thing so my dad decided to try it. sounds stupid i know, my mom gets on his *** about it every day. he had a 48k mile deal for 4 years, and it has like 18-19k miles, so hopefully he doesn't take as big a hit on it as we thought. i'll definitely tell him to test drive them all. i'll let you guys know what happens. thanks again

Can you even lease a Boss or Shelby? I would think you'd have to buy it as they are a limited production run to begin with.

no boss, i like them but coming from a 911 the boss has too many stickers. just go drive a gt... i bet that 911 4s weighs 3400lbs or so. the gt will feel fast. it handles fine too.

yeah the curbweight in the manual had the C4S at 3252. i feel like a traitor coming on here and telling you guys, but my dad bought a 2011 camaro ss instead. it was out of the blue. i'm content with whatever he was going to get, just as long as it had power and didn't look like a pt cruiser. he did like how quick the mustang felt. hopefully we'll have a friendly race once i get a tune/cai
