shaker system void warrenty?
I want to put the shaker system on my 11 5.0. Obv have to cut ahole in my new hood. I'm asuming if anything happend to the paint on the hood the warenty would be voided because of the hole. But will the shaker void ford warrentys on the engine? Or is this going to be okay? Thanks if anyone knows!!!

Nope. It will not void anything. The only way Ford can deny warranty work is if the Shaker intake is the cause of anything that breaks.
As for water getting into the engine bay, do not worry. Water gets into there all the time. When you drive in the rain, water gets thrown up all over the engine bay from the road, your front wheels, and so forth. So, no, water in the engine bay is not an engine killer. Heck, the ECU box housing is water proof. No worries about that shorting out.

Hi drock111,
This is Deysha with Ford Customer Service. JIM5.0 is right, an aftermarket part will not void your warranty. However, if a specific aftermarket part causes a concern, that specific repair will not be covered. You can refer to your Warranty Guide on page 13 for further info.
