I just signed the papers and left a $500 deposit for a 2012 mustang gt coupe stick premium, it has the RR sensing sys/security package 18" polished wheels and the red candy metallic tinted CC. The MSRP is $35,480, and it's $37,000 out the door with tax, DMV fees, everything. I pick it up Monday. The car has 100 miles on it because it was driven from Penn. and I live in NYC. It has the tan leather interior. I have a few questions, the brake discs looked a little rusted is this a problem? should I have them take care of it before I pick it up, and also how is the price? did I over pay, get a good deal?

Brake rotors rust as soon as water hits them but when you hit the brakes the rust is gone. No worries dude. if your happy with the price then that's all that matters. Price truly depends on demand and supply in your area. So you actually live in the city? If so where do you park?

yep.. depends on where you are at..I ordered premium(33,145) auto (extra 1195), louvers/scoops/decklid(extra 720), and comfort package (dual heated/power seats, 595) i'm paying 33,500 on it, sticker on it was 36,505.. and we dont have sales taxe or dmv fees (we do have registration, which will be about 400/yr till it loses value, paid after owning it a month) so.. from what you've listed i'd say no, not a good deal. the security package is just wheel locks and an active instead of passive security that all mustangs get (active will go off from loud noises, passive takes movement of the vehicle or inside of it, which is what i'd prefer to have)

Nice ride!
As for what you paid, you paid about average. Others get a lot more off because the get A D X-plan discounts. But few people qualify for those so when you read those on the Internet don't let the stories of great deals get you down.
