What the hell is a troll alert? I just signed up to this forum yesterday because I am fed up with Ford and hoping that they will eventually take care of their customer! Wow, that sucks. I hate saying this but try to play the soldier card with them and be relentless (I just don't like playing that card much). Anyway, the ford rep here asked for your VIN and stuff, see where that goes. Then I would call them literally 5 times a day.

Forget Ford.
Get a hold of Geico ASAP and file a claim. Simple as that.
While they are the worse Ins. Cie out there to deal with and frankly dishonest, Ford cannot help you unless these cars are prone to catch in fire, which is not the case.
You're an isolated case so far and only your Insurance will be able to do something.

Like I said, call your Insurance and report this!!
If they won't touch it then sue them.
Go to the court's clerks and file a small claim against Geico...
I guaranty you they will pay attention then.
It's a game they play and and they get away 8 times out of then. Be one of the 2 that won't put up.
