I was driving my Grand Prix out to the store to get my mom a gift for Mother's Day. Just my luck that with the way I was going and the time of day it was, the old couple didn't see me coming down the road when they went to pull out of their driveway and t-boned me. I ended up spinning and did a 180 and came to a stop in the ditch facing the opposite way that I was going. Luckily I messed around in icy parking lots enough the previous two winters before that to understand how to handle my car and make sure I wasn't hurt (most people probably would have rolled the car).

But this odd spot in time led me to my Mustang that I now have today and have dreamed of even before I started driving. It also led to my friends hating me for a short period of time as I got it right before we graduated high school. And finally it led to me getting to know my current girl friend who happened to drive by at the time and called me and sparked our friendship and then about a year later, our relationship.

Just wanted to share my little story as it gave me my pretty pony I have now. I can't believe these three years have gone this fast!

When I went to run for ice cream earlier and was telling my girlfriend that I posted this story, we actually had the elderly couple pulling into their house in front of us. I thought it was pretty funny, but was more thankful that they were on the same side of the road and going INTO their driveway this time. I also found it comical that they drove a PT Cruiser as it seems very stereotypical.

Also, if it weren't for my mother's idea of taking the insurance money and a decent chunk of change out of the college fund that my grandparents put away for me when I was born, I would probably be browsing the SN95 section instead right now. I feel as if this was actually a very good insight as she was looking ahead that I would be commuting to college every day as well as working, so this was a much more reliable choice. It also gives me room to defend myself for driving an automatic v6 Mustang when I say "Hey, I didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. I wasn't the one holding the check."

I still remember the worst day I faced with the pony had a 3-pronged attack of:
-Fell through a carwash grate, but no damages as it was only 1 wheel and I could reverse out
-Had my first blackout panel stolen off the back of the car while parked in a parking garage when I went to a concert
-Hit a deer about 3 miles from home as my girlfriend was texting my sister for me saying that I wished I had her car instead due to the blackout panel was stolen.
