Default Check Engine Light and Limp Home Mode

This morning I was on the way to work when the LHM came on and scared the crap out of me. It's the first time I've ever thrown a code, so I pulled over to see what the code meant. I didn't know what to do, so I turned the car off and back on and it cleared. However, the check engine light then came on. The only thing I could think of was that I was messing with my selection of my CAI on my tune yesterday since neither Roush nor Airaid are listed, and that the car might have been running lean or rich. I reset it to stock and the light went away. Am I good to go? I am gonna get a bama tune sometime this week so I don't have to worry about messing with it myself.

If you're running the stock tune with a no-tune-required CAI then you should be ok. I'll guess that you selected a tune for a CAI with a larger air flow than the Roush or Air Raid.

C&L :P Not the Race Intake or whatever, just the regular one. I couldn't find a setting for Roush or Airaid, so I was just experimenting. Guess I shouldn't do that without knowing what I'm doing. Thanks man. I still have the insert in the Roush CAI so I probably don't need a tune. I plan on opening it up and putting a 93 tune on there after this tank though.

That works, along with the proper tune.
