Auto Shifter Tower replacement...anyone??

Dont get me wrong: I LOVE my ride. I just hate feeling like I'm at an arcade playing Top Gun or Afterburner when ever I look at the God-awful plastic shifter that came on my 05 automatic...

Has anyone seen an aftermarket replacement for it?

what ford should have done...and all the other guys here at the dealership agree...they should have used the shifter from the f150 lariat in this vehicle...that damn shifter is sooo cheesy and plasticy...
