Ok so now that I decided I need help finding one. I want a black one with low miles if possible for under $35k. I have found one so far on autotrader. Any other good sites I should check out?

Thanks

Get that one. 708hp @ the tire. Smoke yourself a few 5.0's that cost as much or more.

lolz very nice find but isnt 708whp is a bit much for a DD, especially with these gas prices?

anyways, i'd go the 11/12 gt, better for DD reasons and if its not enough power the price dif between the gt and gt500 should be enough mod money to get you there, better handling as well. just a thought, good luck with whatever you get

Smoking is right...while that car is trying to get traction, the 5.0 will be passing it by

HP is nothing unless you can make good use of it. Traction being key. That car would need MTs with no air

True! I remember I watched a review a while ago of a modified Challenger, Mustang, and Camaro to see which one ended up working out the best. The shelby they modded ended up losing so much time because there was simply too much power to use it usefully. Power like that is only useful with slicks going in a straight line lol

No prob nothing a $500 set of drag radials can't fix right up for the most part. Then proceed to annihilate bolt on 5.0's.

2007 GT500

These cars are first of all just badass in every single way. My dad owns a Ford dealer and he brings home a new car once a month some times more often. He has brought numerous 07-09 Shelbys home they are beastly. The 5.4 liter has such a smooth power band. The Shelby is like the one high class mustang. I drive a Roush and even though with some mods I could beat a shelby its just the heritage and the fact that it is a 5.4 liter. I feel inferior next to a shelby. If it is at all possible pick up an 11 GT500. It was the first car I ever drove legally on the street and man I love it. The exhaust note and the delivery of the power is just insane. Go for GT500 plus I personally think the front end of the 07-09 Shelby is the most badass looking mustang ever. It is so aggressive.

Not to mention it doesn't have the rear end of the '10-'12 either. +1 there.

/agree on the front end as well.
