edit: never mind I finally get what you all are saying. Make sure there is no buildup of debris under the plastic cowl, and clean the rubber grommet that is a bit lower in the engine bay. But sounds like the driver's side one doesn't leak?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys and this forum saved me a HUGE headache and $! It's happened to me twice now, water on passenger side! Couldn't figure out WHY? Thought it was a faulty seal.., on my 06 Mustang parts of a foam like seal started coming out? Took it to a Ford dealer and of course they said they could fix it for a HUGE sum... anyway my brother put a silicon seal around the rubber gasket on the inside and that seamed to do the trick till day before yesterday. Had a hugh downpour and discovered a soaking wet floor on passenger side. So decided to check out google and see if anyone else had such a problem and found this forum.. read a lot of posts and have to admit I needed the pictures... Had no idea where I needed to go before I used pictures and posted help! BUT, did what you said and took off the the plastic covering over the cabin filter and found it was FULL to the top with water! Took out filter and unclogged drain and water rushed out and HOPEFULLY it won't happen again! Thanks again!
