Was at the dealer yesterday... They had that red and black special laguna 302 boss mustang..

I was looking at the sticker on it.. It was like 42k then they added 10k for some regional area increase or some BS.. The price of having a numbered addition car I guess..Like 2k less than a GT500?

Get a GT.. You can buy alot of mods for the money you will **** away on the BOSS..

I'd get a BOSS over a GT though!
Buddy of mine...has one.
Ran a 7.7 in the 8th. Stock with Slicks only.

Not a Laguna Seca either.

Pretty quick!

Look at it this way, the money you save by getting the GT instead of a BOSS you use to mod the heck out of on the GT!

True, however the difference is that I can finance that extra 10k in the car. Just because I spend 34k on a car vs. 43k doesn't mean I magically have 10k in cash to drop on mods .

I applied for a new job today. If I get it I'll probably go Boss, and if I don't, GT. Either way its a win. Unless I don't get the new job and get fired or something lol.

you know i was thinking just the other day that i had really pissed my money away buying the boss. NOT.

the price of a normal Boss 302 is about $44k with the recaro and torsen option any buyer should get. That is only about $5k more than a fully loaded GT and about that much less than a base GT500.

Well I'm still waiting to see the official paperwork, but I've gotten a quote on a fully loaded 2012 (Nav, brembo, everything minus a glass roof) for ~34k.

But I know what you mean. I just want to mod. If I can afford to drop 44k AND mod, I will, but if not, 34k it is!

34k! Not a bad price for all the bells a whistles.. Even here in Texas, heated leather seats are nice to have..

44k... You get 11's out of the box... That's what they say anyhow...
