mustang is too loud!
When I am doing 60 and over, the noise from the wheels is no freaking annoying and loud. I was wondering what have you guys done to your cars to make it more quiet inside the cabin.(Dynomat, LizardSkin...)

If you buy something called a prius, it'll make it real quiet.
Lol just kidding really .
I haven't used anything in terms of sound dampening but think about what tires you buy next time you're in the market, since some of them definitely make more noise than others, sometimes to the extent that they're annoying to cruise with.

Noise
One of two things here. Either your tires have developed a scalloping problem or the 05 has a lot less sound insulation than the 2012. I got out of an 09 Accord Coupe because the Mustang was that much quieter than the imports.

I'm willing to bet its your tires.
I never noticed much road noise in my Mustang until I switched to my GT500 replicas.
The tires on those rims is extremely noisy, so I turn up the radio and roll down the windows.
Exhaust + Radio = No Tire Noise.

I have heard it helps tire noise a lot if you cover the fender wells with Dynamat. I'll get around to it one day.. BFGoodrich KDW's are almost as loud as truck tires + 4.10 gears + drone-happy Borla mufflers + no cats. The interstate is torture.

My '07 is a bit noisey due to my tires but I didn't buy it for comfort. My GY Eagles are noisier than the OE BFG's were. If I want quiet and more comfort on a long trip, my SUV takes car of that.

Road texture has a lot to do with it, too. Most tires are a lot noisier going over grooved concrete or asphalt that's been "milled" in preparation for the application of a new top coat than they are over fresh asphalt.
