Probably, particularly in the V6. You should be able to find one used pretty cheap. If you are close to a pick-a-part, pull it out and go shopping.

The V6 Mustang came from the factory with a 7.5" rear end and 28 spline axles (from 2005 through 2010). The GT has the 8.8" with 31 spline axles.

So unless you have changed the rear end to a GT 8.8", you have the 28 spline axle.

For 2011 I believe both have the same rear end and axles.

You only need the ABS exciter ring if you have a PonyPackage
with the ABS system.
The "base" model V6 didnt come factory with ABS.
You cant remove the exciter ring from the axle without destroying it...

How did she "bend" it
and how did you determine that it is indeed "bent".

she slid out on a dirt road. went up an embankment. the tire was flat. took it home rotated the wheel and it has a wobble. i am assuming its the axle shaft at that point. vehicle has the pony package. whre is the best place to buy a replacement?

Someone correct me if I"m wrong here, but isn't this a perfect time to upgrade to an 8.8 and new gears by replacing with a GT rear axle?
