Gittin rid of my 07 stang

No advice on what to get, but having sold my stang in May after 5 years ownership and some crazy modding, you will move on. It will pass.
Gone back to a 2 seater that I really prefer and settled for a dodge. 100% stock and staying that way. Not going anywhere near a dragstrip or dyno...lol

You had a mean Stang and carried on well with it.
I can't help to feel a bit sad about the fact that it's gone since you're one of the few that pushed the envelope with the S197...

Do they make a lot of mods for Vipers anyway?
On the 08+ srt10s, a tire change can get the thing into the upper 10s. Quite a few go FI and with 505 cubes, only need a touch of boost to get 650ishs rear wheel, which seems to be standard for the viper that is otherwise stock. Like the mustang though, forged internals etc is obligatory for moderate to large boost.

The best thing for the car was for the speed shop to take it over completely. Just part of the car's evolution.... going from private ownership to commercial enterprise. They have the resources and contacts to experiment, with backup motors being prepped and such. For example, car has a GM powerglide now, small fuel cell and about 400 lbs lighter. I will be following the progress and report on results.

my bro has a 2000 4runner and has had it for 7 yrs - hasn't cost him a cent besides brakes - original clutch and all. Not my thing, it's slow as **** and imo, is quite small (narrow) compared to my 01' Grand Cherokee (which cost me 1000's of dollars to maintain).....gl meng - if ur gunna have a family sooner than later - in hindsight - Toyota Sienna awd......it's not if dude, but when. my .02
