What ATF would you put in your car?
Hey guys-
I recognize that I already asked a similar question in the same forum about 30 minutes ago, but that thread was asking more about tranny noise issues. (Please hold your tomatoes and other choice food products or tools) This one is entirely different. Simply,
if you had a dry tranny, and $$$ wasnt an issue, what ford/ warranty approved tranny fluid you put in your car?

Amsoil already in use.
And its not like money needs to be an issue because there really isnt much of a price difference between fluids of different companies. This is a seldom changed fluid, and will get many miles of use. Get the good stuff and never worry again.

My tranny is a T5 (Manual)
I have Royal Purple Synchromax in it right now, but I occasionally (1-2 times per hour driving) get a nasty grinding sound going into third gear when shifting under load... Given some of the negative hype surrounding RP, im thinking it may be best to switch to something more generally "Safe"
