Default Shelby Emblem Colors

So I am blacking out the tail lights on my car but while they are on order I wanted to get rid of the last few chrome pieces on my car that are factory. After looking around and reading all the stupid emblem bashing threads on here(so save it) I ordered a shelby faux gas cap and since I cant just pull my fender emblems off and leave holes I bought a set of Tiffany Cobra Emblems for the fenders as well. Now my question to you guys is should I paint the faux gas cap black and the fender emblems or should I just leave them the brushed metal color they are? Either way they will match since I have some polished/brushed stuff on my car but want all your opinions.

I say paint them black. You have almost everything else blacked out except for the lights. I've always liked the black stangs all black.

leave the fender emblems as they are.

paint the faux gas cap matte black. then silver out the FORD lettering and leave the inner part alone.

that way you can minimize brushed/aluminum on the car, and all the snakes would match each other

I painted my tri bars and grille pony black a while back. While it looks good in contrast to the red of my car, it might be too much black on your black car.

I was going to make a comment but then I decided to save it.

Too much black.

Leave them as they are and apply them to the proper car.

Sorry couldn't resist.

I like this idea. I am leaning towards doing this or leaving them right now. Depends on how impatient I get about putting them on.

Because the "proper" car doesnt come with them on it already and if you noticed I didnt get a GT500 faux gas gap, that and its not like my car looks anything like a Cobra . Its ok though I expected at least one childish comment.
