Unleash - I agree. For the bike, no more notchy gears, nice smooth shifts! Hopefully the Synchromesh will respond that well in the Stang as well.

Why use synchromesh? Your transmission is spec'd for ATF. I have used ATF in both my T3650 and T6060, and Amsoil Synthetic ATF has made both transmissions shift like butter. Everyone who I recommend it too try it and RAVE about it. They can't believe the difference versus regular petroleum ATF.

Amsoil ATF

Although....I do have one friend that uses Amsoil's synchromesh in his T6060 (GT500), and he loves it. So as long as it's a true synthetic synchromesh it should be just fine.

They wouldn't bother with Mobil 1, you can buy that stuff everywhere. Red Line would be cool, as it's a little harder to find.

I swapped the factory fluid for Amsoil ATF and it made a HUGE difference. I can shift with one finger now...and thats with my notchy Hurst short throw.

Good to know, everyone who does not use this fluid in their transmission needs to be. It's a night and day difference.
