Changin my stripes. Thoughts?
So my Baltimore street mod stripes are about 3 years old now and they are spotted up pretty bad from leaving my car on a pier in Rhode Island for a few months uncovered (long story) while I was out on quasi-deployment. Long story short, they need to be changed, and I'm thinking about just paying a local shop to do it this time. I got a quote today and the guys said 350 for a super stripe, which is awesome because I can't put a super stripe on my hood myself due to it being a KR hood and not a SS hood. I brought this to their attention and they said they can do it no prob. At the same time, just replacing the stripes I had myself would only cost about 150 from BSM. I'm really leaning towards the super stripe option. Any input?

My stripes cost me $150 material and $300 for install. I wouldn't attempt it on my 2010 because the angle at the front of the hood made it tough to install without tearing. Didn't even attempt the front bumpers with those angles. Then again, I figured a year or two then go to paint, wanted to see how they looked first. I say go for it.

I'm going with the super stripe. Now I just need a free weekend to prep my car. They said if the remove the stripes its an extra 150, so next free weekend I'm spending some quality time with a bottle of goo gone, and then I just have to make an appointment. Then some new glamour pics. I don't have any pics since I put my hood pins on because I'm so ashamed of the stripes. This will fix than nicely.
Side note; Mellow, is your sig pic your current configuration or is that an old pic. I ask because it looks like you got rid of your Alcoa's in that shot, and that would be a shame, but I also know you get bored with rims, so I'm not sure what would surprise me more.
