Well, after completely stripping down the door panel after my first fkup. I am finally done with the driver's side.
I also painted my door sill!

don't laugh at my overspray. It was from the first time I painted it, ahaha.
I'm getting some welting to cover that panel or something, idk.

Whatcha guys think?

Before.

After.

I am not a fan of grey interiors so looks better but I would have just bought a door panel

And I like the pink electric mustang in the garage.(not being sarcastic)

I like the contrast. Is the paint smoother this time around? Felt rough before.

Smooooth as a baby's bottom!
Well,
not really.
But it feels smooth. Unlike before.
When it didn't feel smooth.

You catch my drift.

I cleaned it all off with Lighter Fluid (removes dirt, grease, etc.) Then used a cheap Adhesion Promoter (7 bucks at an auto store),
then Krylon Fusion, then a Krylon clear coat.

Other paints don't work for crap. You wanna make sure you use the adhesion promoter and a plastic bonding paint...
trust me, I had to repaint the panel.

Yeah definitely go with the Krylon fusion.
it comes out with a pretty glossy finish too.
Only takes about 2-3 coats.
