Default $5k more for a GT worth it?

I am planning to buy a new stang by labor day and currently I have my eyes on a 2012 3.7 performance pckg. for $28k & a 2011 5.0 performance pckg. for $33k and Im wondering if it is worth it or not:/ Decisions decisions. The GT seems to be considerably less then the rest ive seen. I might plan to procharge the v6 in the future but not until I can find a used kit cheap. I am ok with 300hp but would like to have around 400hp. :/

Well do you think 112hp is worth another 83 bucks a month, that's what it comes down to over 5 years. To talk yourself into it you can break it down to about 20 dollars a week over 5 years..... Nothing wrong with owning a new V6 they have very respectable power and if 5 grand will put you in a crunch don't do it, if it don't....by all means buy the 11' GT.

If you can afford it definitely go for the 5.0. It will come stock with the power you want and if you don't plan on tuning or it or going too crazy you can keep your warranty vs a procharged v6 that the motor most likely would not be covered under warranty.

How can I stress this...

5.O

Just do it if you have the mulah. Not only are you getting that much more power, but you also get the sound, respect, etc. that comes along with having a V8.

I gotta admit I have never thought to much of mustang 6er's (in stock form) but the new 11 6er is a force to be reckoned with. Butttttttttttt.... If I had to chose, I would get the 5.0. Everytime you do something as simple as starting her up in the morning, it will make you wonder why you ever post this thread.. Good luck my man..

many V6 owners wish they had a GT.
no GT owners with they had a V6.

not hating, just saying.
