I drove a friend's SS last weekend, and holy cow those things are fast once they get into the boost. At the right speed I think a stock SS could beat my car... stage 3 ought to be a real challenge to beat. I'm guessing that setup puts out over 300 hp and the crank from what I've heard about the GM stage 1 tune.

Somewhat off-topic but if you were to race, ask your brother which way it torque steers and line up on the other side. Torque steer in those things is RIDICULOUS. It nearly ripped the wheel out of my hand.

Traded my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC with a Gm Stage 2 kit in it for my 2011 Mustang GT.
I can say with confidence that if your Mustang is stock, he "Should" have a Small edge.

The driver is truly the final part though.

That little car would go.

It depends, is the Cobalt a SC or TC?
The TC is quite a bit faster than the SC.

I really don't care, it's a cavalier with a new name and boost. I'd happily lose in a Mustang than drive a economy "sports" car.

I KNOW it beats the Cobalt sitting still. That's all I need.
