Default 2015 Mustang 4 cylinder Rice

If the mustang gets an I4 in 2015. Will it be considered rice?

Guess those Fox Bodies with the 4 cylinders in the 80s and early 90s must have been big time rice then, huh?

Lmao. But what makes a car rice is it because an import or it's engine size or sound of exhaust?

I feel like being rice is more than the engine inside. Take the Pontiac Solstice for example, I don't think anybody would call that car rice, yet it had a turbo'd 4.

More than anything I think the important part is more so that the car is styled like an American car. Honestly rice as a definition sorta changes around depending on who you ask. Honestly I think a 4 would be sweet in the new mustang if it's a nice and light car. Turbo it and you're going to have one fun as hell ride.

No car is rice from the factory. Rice-ness is achieved by adding ugly/poorly fitting/etc non-performance pieces onto a car that was never meant to be anything more then a grocery getter.

But yeah. I would burn down a Ford factory if they made 4 cylinder mustangs again.

^ yep what he said.

Ricer is more of mentality as well. But yes, I've seen riced out mustangs. Cheap mods, done poorly a lot of aesthetic things that are supposed to be for performance but don't really help. I also believe mods to make your car sound like it has something that it doesnt is ricer. Such as the new ghost cam tunes.
