i prepped best i could.. there was minimal peeling to do.. but yes, there is some peeling to do.. i was very hesitant to do it because.. well, spraying my car with rubber spray coating seemed like could go wrong very quickly.. but it was simple and came out great imo...i looked on youtube and found someone who posted a video doing it with very much attention to detail.. i followed his procedure and came out excellent..
blacksmoke, i think its a depth perception thing.. cause the depth of the cracks the rubber would gather more causing it to be a little darker in there making the rest look light and with the color of my car it throws the eyes off... it is all flat black.. 5 coats...if anyone wants to do it check you youtube.. theres a guy doing his tacoma badges and goes above and beyond what most people would do for prep work.. or hit me up and i will help with info and guidance best i can.. can't wait to do my trunk badge.. come on weekend!!
