Default Lava Red Production Numbers

Well after a week or so I finally got a call back from Ford, I have a 2012 Convertible Lava Red, Ford records indicate that only 95 lava red convertibles were made. So I am thinking a base GT with a Stick was pretty rare!

just thought I would share

Lava Red is discontinued because the paint is made in Japan, and since the tsunami, they can't produce that paint anymore...that sucks because i sold two mustangs of that color and i think it's GORGEOUS

I really like the lava red. All you lava red guys may have a collectible. While I had mine in for oil change last week I let the salesman talk me into test driving a lave red Roush. I thought it was black at first, I had no idea it was lava until he moved it out from under the awning and I could see the red sparkle in the sun light.

Default Lava Red Roush RS1 at Landers Ford in Bentonville.

It's nearly impossible to properly capture this color on camera.
