What it comes down to is the advancement of technology and stiffer restrictions. It's happened before and the mustang brand survived. No need to get offensive, that's just how the world works.

I never ever ever ever want to buy an electric car. I'll keep a combustion engine until oil prices makes it downright unaffordable to own one. Then of course I'll have to buy an electric car... unfortunately. However, this ridiculous hysteria that this 4 cylinder "news" created it just that. Ridiculous.

Will a 4 cylinder be created with ecoboost? Maybe.

Here's to hoping the 2015s live up to our standards. Until then, this will be the last time I speculate what's in store for the next model. I'll worry about it in 2014.
