Default Low RPM idle

I drive an 06 GT Auto. It went from 100 to 80 degrees here in Oklahoma. My car seemed to be idling kind of low today at stop lights. Does the drastic weather change have anything to do with it?

I wouldn't think so. The computer should adjust for temperature differences. If the temperature change has caused the idle speed to change, then there's probably something wrong.

It actually seemed to fix itself, I just went for a drive. I'll keep y'all updated.

Yeah today it seems to idle just fine. I'm not sure what the deal was!

If it continues to be intermittent, I suggest cleaning the TB and MAF; cheap first-try items.

Throttle body and Mass Air Flow sensor. You will need throttle body cleaner and Mass Air Sensor cleaner, which you can purchase at any Autozone or Advanced Auto store. It's easy to do. You can find Youtube videos on how to clean. ;-)

At idle, I think mine is around 600-700 rpm or so.

Don't scare OP! You have a manual and he has an automatic. His original concern was idling at traffic lights, so he would be in drive. I think rpm would be more like 550-600.
