12 seconds or less
what does it take to get a 4.6 into low 12 seconds?

Low 12's?
Gears, cams (not exactly a bolt-on), and nitrous. After that, you exit the simple bolt-on stuff and get into power adders.
You could also just swap in a stroked carb'd Windsor and go straight to the 9's or 10's. There's a guy down in Houston that did it in a S197.

^^ i envy that traction. on my old GTO I went 13.0@109 stock wheel hopping and squatting the whole way.

Drag radials will be the single biggest mod you'll make for drag racing. The next biggest thing is driver mod! I.E. lotsa practice! Follow that up with exhaust, intake, tune, cam and gears. That should get you in the basement 12s.
