Default TPMS monitors on 05-09 Mustangs...
...are they different for 17s or 18s, I 'm talking OEM band types.

There are some for sale on ebay at what seems to be a good price but they don't specify size just year.

I would like to think that the bands used on 17's & 18's are the same, but I don't know that for certain...sorry.

Call, or email, the place selling them and ask.

The bands are just metal straps usually. I don't think a 17" strap would fit on an 18" rim, but I could be wrong. Mine didn't have any extra room to make them bigger to say fit a 19" or 20" wheel.

The TPMS sensors are the same for 05 thru 09. You can buy the band kits (about $15-$25 per wheel) and then mount the sensors on any size wheel.
