2014 Mustang

It's doubtful the new design is going to rock my world. Ford got it right with the 05-09, I'm really glad they did and I got a chance to get one.
The only way I'd get a new one is if it looked like a 69 Mach1.

They are moving in the wrong direction again. What they should be doing is designing the Mustang to look more like the mid 60s designs. They certainly got the aggressive muscle (late 60s early 70s) car look down for the 05-09 and the 10-12 obviously express a sportier styling that says "go fast", but for the 50th anniversary they should bring the Mustang back to it's true pony heritage. Of course, all in a 500hp, Camaro-eating stock GT package.

Then you would like this!!!!:
Gotta admit I've always liked this concept draw up since it came out hehe.

Actually, Mustangs hold their value a little better than normal... I NEVER buy a new car. Wait 3 years, and they're 1/2 price or LESS... I paid $16k for one that listed for $34k with only 24,000 miles on the clock... Around here, they're still going for $14-15K, so the depreciation curve is slowing down two years later.. My wife's 06 Exploder is still dumping in value.. it's around $10k where it listed about the same as my 06 Mustang...

Sounds like you guys resisting change would be better suited to a Jeep, in which the body style often takes decades to significantly change. This current body style has had a good run, but it either needs to change or face extinction. Heck, the 65/66 sold nearly 1.3 million and they changed it the next year.
I love my '65, loved the '85 vert, two '92 GTs and the '98 GT, but my '11 GT is better in almost every regard ... except I like the look of my early car best.

Not even close buddy. Did you even read what I typed? When they "revived" the Mustang with the S197, they turned it back into looking like a muscle car. Then in 2010 they moved into "sports car" territory with the curves and new lines. What I am suggesting is that for the 50th anniversary they bring it back to a pony car. Yes, I am actually suggesting they make it look a little less aggressive, in a sense.

How was the 2005 mustang a "muscle car"? It barely made 300 hp. The GT didn't get fast til 2011. Technically, I don't consider even today's mustang as a "muscle or sports" car. It's still and always has been a pony car.
The 2005 retro mustang is never coming back. Stop living in the past.
