I think I might try this. Does it come off real easy? I just want to see how my car would look with black wheels.

Real easy. Just peels off. I'm thinking of tagging up a co-workers BMW 1 series because he keeps talking about how his car will smoke mine but wants to turn up the boost before he races my stock 5.0 lol. After he has a near heart attack, I'll just peel it off his car, no left over residue, doesn't strip the paint, nothing.

So you can take a rag to it and wipe off the dirt after a car wash like you would a regular rim? It's that durable?

I have only heard good things about plasti-dip. Ive seen a member on the saleen forums post about spraying his stock 20's. They were originaly chrome and he just cleaned them well and started spraying. Did not need to sand or anything. They look great. Definitely an inexpensive way to change the look of your wheels and definitely worth a try.

I have yet seen anyone peel if off yet. Just wondering if its as easy as they say. "just peel it off"

I most likely will, I have a can on plasti in my garage. Any ideas of what I should do? I'll take pictures for the forum to see.

I never hand washed my V6 when I had it, always went through the drive through and despite the brushes swiping the wheels - didn't phase them one bit.

In the photo I posted was a picture I took the day I took it in to trade for my 5.0. I think I used some Black Magic wheel shine or something like that and it gave a shiny finish to it.
