2012 ~ 8200 miles

occasionally have a hard time getting into 3rd gear. like the gate is blocked, press the clutch push again then it goes in.

this is a very rare issue though.

I received my 2011 GT on 5/23/2011 and have over 16,000 mi. on mine. At the beginning it was a little crunchy and it is still a little vague at certain times, but nothing real bad has occurred. I've never powershifted the car and the tranny seems, really, to be smoothing out more and more. I am in the process of getting and MGW short throw shifter and I think from the looks of it and the stock one side by side that the MGW will surely cure the mushiness and vague engagement situation. My GT has 3.73's, 401A, HID, white w/black and parchment stripe int. and Roush axlebacks. Sweet!!!!! mouser.

Drop by I'll let you take it for a spin....then you'll get it. Ford's making an effort, so it's not a deal breaker on the car yet. Hopefully they come up with a fix, because I love the car otherwise.

I have a problem with it not wanting to go into 5th gear sometimes, and 3rd and 5th frequently "crunch" when shifting. I haven't taken it to a dealer yet.

It seems that people are noticing more issues when the weather outside gets colder. I am planning ordering a 5.0 myself pretty soon and am actually going with the auto.

I would've gone no doubt with the MT-82 but after reading the issues I decided to take the auto for a test drive and I am glad I did. It seems that the car really loves the auto and really has some nice getup and go. Its nice that the car can be driven more "calm" if need be....say the wife has to drive it, but the power is definitely there if you want it.

I thought the 6A had a very nice pull to it and I would not shy away from it. My advice, go test drive both.

In the end, I think more often the MT-82 is fine. Obviously the more you mod it, the more chances you have of something going wrong. I do know that the auto is more stout and can handle more power but not many people are going to want a 6-700 hp daily driver.

Edit: Disregard my signature....it needs to be changed and I cant do it at work.
