For those of you that have a new 2011/2012 gt 5.0 manual, are l of you guys noticing problems shifting or no? I'm getting my new 5.0 in January and I want a manual but I don't know if I should after reading all of the problems people are having. Any help or info I'd they found the problem?

This obviously doesn't relate directly to the 5.0 trans., but I have a '08 4.6 5 Speed & it would lock out of gear if I didn't shift it just right. Not a big enough pain to take it into the dealer. About 7500 miles it just went away! It finally broke in I guess!

Only 5,500mi here on 2012 but no problems. Would buy again, great driver, and I switched from an Accord Coupe with a stick.

Yep...mine's got the rough shifting issues. Just had our first below 50 degree day, and the problem is back with a vengeance. They changed out the fluid just as summer was starting, but the swap wasn't the fix.

Hey Brad192!

There are a few repairs out already regarding transmission/clutch issues, and individual concerns are addressed depending on that Mustang's specific diagnosis.

When you're ready to get a 'Stang, contact our Marketing Program Headquarters at 800.334.4375 for incentive information. If you place an order, PM me the order # and dealer name/state so I can keep you updated every step of the way.

Hi Meester_Vapor,

I'm bummed your rough shifting returned. Please PM me your VIN, contact information, mileage, & servicing dealer name/state and I will help.

9K on my 2011 GT with no transmission issues. It is one of the smoothest sticks I have owned..... except when cold but it warms up quick.

3,200, 2012 GT, fantastic ride. If you don't do it......well, you'll be wishing you had.

I think this is the most blown out of proportion issue I have ever heard of on a car.
