I thought about that, and the gun safes that go under the seat are a good way to lock it up. I may do that just when I'm leaving it in there. Its not very accessible if I need it though.

I think I'm going to go with a grassbur holster and mount. Here is a video that shows it. Its pretty universal and I can mount it almost anywhere.

Be careful, I'm sure you know your laws but I know in MA to carry in your car it has to physically be on you. I have my concealed carry in MA and NH, but in MA I can't do holsters anywhere except on me in my direct control.

I'm a right handed shooter but I can still shoot well with my left hand. I practice weak hand shooting quite a bit.

The laws here in NC aren't AS restrictive. They are more restrictive than in MO but as far as I can tell from reading the laws those holsters will be fine. I'm not apposed to keeping the holster on me, its just easier to draw and more comfortable with a holster somewhere other than my hip.

I just tried somethings out to get an idea for fitment, and my pistol won't fit in the center counsel. So I'm going to look into a few other spots.

I like to put mine right by the seat belt latch. Really easy to get to.

I don't know of anywhere where that'd be legal without a CCDW permit; even with it that inaccessible. Not really a holstering solution. Likely not even legal with a CCDW most places I think, as many seem to stipulate having the weapon in your immediate control at all times.

I'm going to have to read the fine print again, but I think you are right. I have my permit so I think it might be ok. I kind of like that idea because its easy and I'm not putting any holes in my interior.
