It sounds like the limited warranty (3 yr 36K) replaces the existing warranty when the "warranted Ford racing part is identified as the causal part of a warrantable concern."

Ford racing then further writes, "Installation of these select Ford racing parts by an authorized dealer does not nullify the New vehicle limited warranty. all engine, driveline, and suspension warranty issues not related to installation of Ford racing parts remain subject to existing manufacturer's New vehicle limited warranty."

It sounds like though once the Track key is installed it will be difficult not to blame the Track Key for any problems....

Mine is still under warranty.

And I still don't care. On my last car they denied me a free oil change (not sure if only my dealership includes oil changes in the warranty) only because I had a cold air intake.

What this really says is that Ford doesnt have confidence in the product for some reason. Defend Ford all you want. But you can by many very high performance cars from Chevrolet, Mercedes and on and on. They do not restrict warranty for a part that they install at the factory as an option. The BMW M Series has had launch control and track features built in for a long time. BMW never says if you use these things, then they will restrict your warranty.

Ford is not confident in the product to perform over the long haul. It is that simple. Period the end.

Nissan will void the warranty on a GTR if launch control it is used "too much."

If your are intentionally going to abuse (and yes, racing is an abuse, as it takes the engines as well as other components to their extreme limits). I thing that Ford is right in this approach. Everything in this world is a trade off, abuse you vehicle and it limits the life, abuse your body, same thing. However, they are still offering a warranty
