Default TracKey Option Clips Boss 302 Warranty to Three Years or 36,000 Miles

And mods are basically banned... Would this make you reconsider it?

Kind of craptastic if you ask me. I feel like it's sad that they're practically saying to consumers that using their track key stands to very potentially shorten the lifespan of your vehicle lol

makes sense to me. racing a car shortens the lifespan of crucial parts. my warranty went out the window less than a week after i bought my car. if you have to rely on the warranty, you probably shouldn't me racing your car.

I believe that by law they still have to attribute a failure to the aftermarket part. If you put an intake on, and say your exhaust manifold cracks in half, they have to show that the intake caused the failure to not honor their warranty.

It's the same game as always, just a new day. The last time a dealership tried to not honor a warranty, they ended up buying me a forged shortblock . . .

My warranty was on 36,000 miles anyhow, 5 year 60,000 was an extension option.

You sure about that?

It's usually 2yr/24k bumper to bumper and 5yr/60k powertrain

Actually you're right it's 3/36k bumper to bumper, 5/60k powertrain, that kinda stinks that they are going to implement that.
