The Boss intake is great to shift your torque higher up into the RPM bandwidth. This is because of the shorter intake runner lengths. That tends to promote higher RPM power at some sacrifice of low end torque. Conversely, longer intake runners tend to promote low end torque but at the sacrifice of some high end output. Its a trade off.

As far as giving your car more torque at low RPMs for a better launch, it is possible to get that with the Boss intake manifold. But it is usually done with a tune. Other mods can possible help recover torque in the low RPM bandwidth. But pagan, a tune is needed to make it all work.

I have two words for you... Turbo Lag. What do a 700hp Supra, a 900hp Supra, and an 1100hp Supra all have in common? They all run 12s.

For the street, the 3.73:1 rear gears would be perfectly okay, even for DD use. Even on the track, there are modders who have left those in and ran them on the strip for 12's and 11's.

3.73's are extremely streetable. Heck they come as an option on '12 GT's. Many even run 4.10's if you'd want to go with them.

Just a CAI & good custom tune and they're seeing an additional 30-40 RWHP. I've heard the BOSS and other intakes have improved on that but haven't seen enough numbers to make a judgement.
I say SC that Boss 302, 500+ at the wheels easy, 600+ at the motor

Definitely! From what I've seen/heard higher gear swaps are even better for the manuals.
