I want to trade my 07 convert mustang to a 08 GT500

Looks like a nice car. Take it for a test drive and see how it feels. 65K seems high and the car is not priced accordingly to the miles. If everything seems good when you test drive it make a low ball offer and see how they react and go up from there....to what you feel comfortable paying. You never know....you may get a good deal because of the high mileage or look around for another GT500 with lower mileage. Good luck.
PS 608HP....dum azz salesman doesn't know what he's talking about....probably?

I kinda tend to agree with the general opinion that it's pretty much... not what it's shown to be. It is high mileage for a 2008, but VERY high for a Shelby. That doesn't necessarily mean anything performance/reliability wise, but like has been said, the "typical" Shelby buyer, keeps it as soley a weekend car/nice weather toy. Not usually a year round daily, though I am sure many do! Just saying, for that price range you could find a much lower mileage car I am sure...
As for the 608... lol. Either he's a liar (bad) or he has NO idea what he is talking about or what he has (just as bad or maybe even worse.)Honestly, I'd skip this one. You can find a much safer/better bet on a Shelby if you're patient. Just be ready to jump on it as soon as you find it!
(and this one may be a FINE car in perfectly maintained condition, and it may just be a salesman or something that doesn't have a clue on the power/know how to use google, just saying it seems to have a lot of little flags about it that add up...)

As others have said, if you look around you'll find that there are quite a few GT500's out there in the low to mid 30's....and with extremely decent mileage.
The only thing that's going to be tricky is finding the exact color you may want....right now there are alot of reds, whites & blacks out there..with a few of the other colors mixed in.
