I was on a mission this winter, had allot of plans for small upgrades. With the exception of the stainless steel braided brake lines, I finished everything. I don't have a new signature pic yet with the new wheels.

1. new plugs

4. modified rear suspension to run 12 wide slicks
5. new Whiteline rear sway bar
6. brand new rims, tires and slicks for the track
7. brand new bullit wheels and tires for the road

10. HDMI interface kit for my iPhone (to display it on the Kenwood)

What does winter have to do with it? In the south, many of us can drive the car 24/7. None of that putting the car away for 5 months crap...

Hmmmm, this winter.... I believe I filled the gas tank about 10 or 12 times.

I don't take my car out in rain or any kind of bad weather. That's what I have a 2009 jeep Grand Cherokee for.

NICE. I looked into that but, can't justify the cost right now. With the B326 I wanted it was going to be about $11,000.

My build was a bit under that by about a grand. But I also didn't try to save any money on the build. I even changed out the gears in the pump to billet for a bit more peace of mind

Did he give you dyno numbers? Its a great place to have your engine built. If I had more then 21,000 miles on mine, I would have given it more thought. Or if the price was in the $6,000 range ;-)

I can get my 4.6 block forged with new hotrod cams for about $6,000 so, I am thinking about that. With all the money I have spent on my baby in the past year, big nut to swallow right now.

Got in a couple of track days at NJMP. Ran down and passed a Roush Mustang with a "427" on the hood at least four times in four 30-minute sessions on the first day of a 2-day event (the dry day). Got to drive one hot lap in a new LT1-powered 7-speed Corvette (what an amazing car).

The second day was about like this every single lap ↓↓↓ and running hard in the rain can be way more educational (not to mention a whole lot more fun) than you might think. You'd be surprised how little water actually made it into the car (at a track day it is required that any window next to an occupied seat remain open).





I also settled on the tires I'll be doing future track days on (the Corvette I drove runs on the run-flat version of these things). Now I'm just waiting on four Forgestars to get built (hint: 9.5" GT500 wheels would look positively narrow in a side by side comparison).
