Default Gear whine! Will it go away?!

Just installed my 4.10s .. Now everything felt fine and double checked everything.. Now there's no noise at all until deceleration and is the loudest from 50-35.. Now when I push in the clutch it goes away the gears are ford racing I checked the serial number it ends with an A will they whine go away?? After some miles are put on or am I screwed? If it gets louder I'm gonna check the slack side to make sure the wears good I just hope the noise goes away

Gear whine will not go away. Once the pattern sets in, that's pretty much it and that starts once you drive the car. Make sure you go through the cool down periods and slowly wear in the gear though.

No whine here but I got mine done at a shop that works on Mustangs only. And the guy that did my install does the gears for the shop.

See that's what I don't get... Cause everything was put back right the back lash is set good.. The pinion is sitting right in the middle there's not to much play it just doesn't seem like it was done wrong..

Is the car lowered? That might have an effect on the pinion angle.

I'm on my second set of gears, both were ford racing 3.73, this set is alot quieter than the first. Not silent but not noticeable unless you listen for it. I was told that a 1 piece DS might help also. Good luck.
