Because, that is their "Get-Out-Of-Jail" free card...they even mention mods in this:

If you have mods, then we don't have to take responsibility for our ****ty workmanship....but in the end they will pay the price, just ask Toyota, and they have a reputation for quality!

PS. I for one will not upgrade to a new Stang, just too many horror stories! The 05-09 series was highly modified, and non of the current issues was ever a concern with the drive train!

And the beat goes on... called today to let dealer know the popping and creaking noises are still present from the drives side. Taking it in to let the tech ride with me. Frustrating, but maybe the third time is the charm!

I'm sorry you have a negative opinion of the new Mustangs. I hope in time you'll see how great they are.

Aww man, I was hoping everything would remain quiet! Having the tech ride is a great idea, and you are welcome to contact your CSM Kristina again for help. Let me know if I can assist.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The only time mods should be brought into consideration is if one for example puts nitrous and the engine gets damaged.
But before denying any warranty work, the techs should considered if the mod did really do the damage.
If the mod didn't cause the problem, warranty work should proceed.
But if the mod did indeed damaged the car, I agree, the warranty work should be denied.
lol sounds like my front end clunk that ford wont look at because i don't have mufflers on my car.
