I have 5% and it gives my car that sexy red and black look. If you are worried about night time when reversing just roll down your windows. 35% is not worth the cost, IMO.

Find out the fines and what's legal. On maui its $150 per window and yes the lil quarter ones count as a window too. I went with legal 35% sides and law breaking 20% rear with a 5% legal eyebrow. 20% all around would be my choice if available. Get the tint protectors for the doors too otherwise....scratches brah!

I have 30 or 35%, can't remember. I regret not going darker. If I could do it over again, I'd go with 20%. I do a lot of night highway driving so 5% would be out of the question.

If you're worried about a cop pulling you over for illegal tint, then go max legal. But honestly, how many ******* cops do you think are out there looking for illegal tint jobs? And wouldn't you think if that were the case then they'd be cruising around in the hood?

The only time I've heard about someone who got fined was because he was going 30 over so the cop was already pissed off.

I have 15% all around on my car. It's dark enough that I have to drop the windows to back up at night. However, anything lighter than 15-20% really isn't worth it.

I think Im going to go 20%. I also do a lot of nighttime driving on the highway and think 5% would be too dark. Only the two front windows are illegal in NJ so Im not that worried plus I know 70% of the cops in my area and I have my PBA card so I should be good. As long as the ticket wouldn't affect insurance prices I don't care that much.

Dude you have a PBA card why are you even worried about a ticket lol. Only time a PBA card might not work is if you are doing something seriously wrong like 40 over a speed limit or wreckless driving.

I hate to look at it this way cause its not the proper way to look at it (so any cops dont scold me for this), but its basically a get out of jail free card for minor stuff.

It got me out of doing 51 in a 30. Gave it to the cop over my license and he asked who it was an I said my uncle, then he gave both back and said have a nice day.

go 20 or maybe 15 if its offered, i have 30 on the fronts of mine and shoulda gone darker, 15 on my back and quarters and it looks good, backing up at night still sucks but you can still kinda see out of it.
