Default Plasti-dip rear deck panel (since we're plasti-dip crazy)

I've been wanting to add a black-out rear decklid. And since the Plasti-dip revolution hit, I've been thinking this could be an option. Has anyone tried it?

Yeah man theres no reason you couldnt do that and if you ever want to remove it, it just peels right off, no damage to the paint or anything. It would look similar to the magnetic decklid panel that AM sells.

You sir have some good ideas.
I had not even thought of that, it would take a steady hand to make it look good I would think.

This could be a much better alternative then the magnetic panel as mentioned above.

cool idea, just remember to do a good tape up job before hand, then after the last coat peel off the tape so it doesnt peel off and make jagged lines, if you pull it off while still wet(last coat) it will come out clean

It's probably a good idea. I thought about that, but I really don't want to spray that stuff on my car. I guess I'll stick with my magnet for now.
