2010 Swimming Pool GT
We had a big rain yesterday. About 2 inches. This morning when I backed into my parking space at work, I heard water sloshing. I traced it down to the drivers side door. I fiddled with the drain holes and got the water draining. It drained for about 5 minutes. There was a lot of water in there! Now I'm hoping it didn't damage the sub or electrics in the door. I'm thinking about taking it in to the dealer. I'm sure warranty won't cover it. Says right in the OM to keep door drain holes clear. I've never had a door do that though! What do you guys think?

There is a TSB for the clogged drains, bringing water into the driver/passenger kick panel.
I think he is talking about the 2 little plastic drains on the bottom of each door. If it rains and they are sealed the door will fill with water.
If there is a TSB for the above issue, please let me know because this happened to me this summer.

I wouldnt sorry about it. If you've ever pulled the door panel, you'll see that theres no electrics that low in the door and the sub is indeed the lowest thing, but the water would weep out somewhere else in the door very likely before it'd get high enough to cause any damage to the sub which is enclosed within the door panel itself, not the door.
